AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Thursday met the Swedish and Hungarian ambassadors to the Kingdom, Alexandra Rydmark, and Chaba Tsebeera, respectively, with talks focussing on the current regional situation and means to enhance bilateral relations in various fields.

During two separate meeting, Fayez emphasised the importance of enhancing Jordan’s economic and investment partnership with Sweden and Hungary, notably increasing trade exchange and activating the signed bilateral agreements to serve common interests, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Fayez also went over the repercussions of the current regional conditions, notably those related to the Palestinian cause and the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, urging the EU to exert pressure on the right-wing Israeli government to abide by international legitimacy resolutions.
