Senate president meets ambassadors of Spain, Romania, Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan

AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Thursday met with ambassadors of Spain, Romania, Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan and discussed means of advancing cooperation in various fields.
During separate meetings with Spain's Ambassador to the Kingdom Aránzazu Bañón Dávalos, Romania’s Ambassador to Jordan Nikolai Komanescu, Sri Lanka's Ambassador to the Kingdom Shanika Dissanayake and Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Jordan Aidarabek Tumatov, Fayez called for increasing the four countries’ investments in Jordan.
He also reiterated the steadfastness of Jordan’s position towards the Palestinian cause and ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with the two-state solution that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The diplomats expressed their countries’ keenness on enhancing relations with Jordan by building on the existing ties and opening new cooperation prospects in various fields.
