Senate president, House speaker reaffirm support for Palestinian prisoners

AMMAN — The Palestinian cause will remain Jordan's primary cause, Senate President Faisal Fayez said on Wednesday. During a meeting with families of Palestinian prisoners in Israel who are on a visit to the Kingdom, Fayez said that any solution to the Palestinian cause that could undermine the Palestinians’ full legitimate rights is rejected, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Meanwhile, Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi welcomed a delegation of families of Palestinian prisoners, expressing the Chamber's support for Palestinians in meeting their right to statehood. The families of the Palestinian prisoners expressed appreciation for the Kingdom's unceasing support for the prisoners, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
