House speaker, Korean ambassador talk parliamentary cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi on Tuesday met Korean Ambassador Lee Jae-wan concerning the bolstering of bilateral relations in various fields, notably parliamentary cooperation. Dughmi highlighted during the meeting that the “two countries speak with one voice”, notably when it comes to the Palestinian cause and their rights to statehood, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also commended the role of Korean businesspeople and their community in the Kingdom, which enjoys the respect of Jordanians. The Korean diplomat emphasised the country’s longstanding ties with Jordan since 1962, expressing the country's keenness to advance relations in parliamentary, investment, tourism, among other sectors.
