Senate condemns Egypt terror attacks

AMMAN — The Senate has condemned the terror attacks on Egyptian churches which led to the killing of a number of innocent civilians and injured dozens, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday. St George Church in Tanta and Saint Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria were targeted by a terrorist group on Sunday.
The Senate stressed that terrorist groups will not succeed in spreading sedition and destabilising the security of Egypt, noting that Egyptians are standing firmly against those terrorists' goals.
The Senate also voiced its support of His Majesty King Abdullah's quest and firmness in the fight against terrorism, and his solidarity with the Egyptian people in fighting these terrorists.
