AMMAN — The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Saraya have signed a memorandum of understanding under which the company will be supporting the “Dreams Come True” programme.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the KHCF board of trustees, and Ali Kolaghassi, chairman of Saraya Jordan, signed the memo, according to a KHCF statement released Saturday.
HH Princess Dina Mired, director general of KHCF, attended the ceremony.
“Children have very simple wishes and the most beautiful and innocent of dreams.
The smiles that light up on their faces when they see that their dreams have become a reality helps them in their recovery,” Princess Ghida said.
The “Dreams Come True” programme aims to uplift the spirits of paediatric and young adult cancer patients and help ease the pain and stress associated with treatment and recovery by fulfilling as many of their dreams and wishes as possible.
