RMS, Michigan University sign agreement to provide physicians with training

AMMAN — The Royal Medical Services (RMS) Director Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh, on Thursday signed an agreement with the head of the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University, Dr Jed Megan.
The agreement includes the training of RMS physicians in the sub-disciplines of psychology, such as psychiatry, children and senility, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the 9th International Conference of the RMS, provides training for resident physicians during their six-month stay, in addition to training nursing and allied health professions without any costs or fees incurred by the RMS.
Also on Thursday, 260 lectures in 44 scientific sessions were delivered on the sidelines of the conference. Brig. Gen. Dr Ayham Haddad, the conference’s media spokesperson, said that the lectures tackled the topics of endocrine diseases, diabetes, heart disease and surgery, Perta reported.
