AMMAN — Royal Jordanian (RJ) on Tuesday said its flight from Amman to Doha turned back one hour after take-off due to a technical error, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The plane, an Airbus 319, returned because the oven used to heat passengers’ food malfunctioned and the pilot decided to go back to the Queen Alia International Airport as a precaution to ensure the safety of passengers and the plane, Petra reported. The 87 passengers reached Doha on Tuesday morning on another RJ plane.
