AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, the Regent and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), on Wednesday paid a field visit to several army units of Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) bases.
During the visit, Prince Feisal met with the commanders of the units and pilots of RJAF, to whom he conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s, the Supreme Commander of JAF, greetings and appreciation for their efforts in protecting the country and its residents.
The Prince, accompanied by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben, had lunch and dinner with the personnel of the units.
The government on Tuesday confirmed that RJAF’s warplanes had participated in US-led air strikes against the Islamic State in Syria, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to defeat terrorism in its stronghold.
