‘Rain in Irbid more than 100% above annual average’

IRBID — Most areas of Irbid Governorate have received more that 100 per cent of their annual average of rainfall during the weekend blizzard, Irbid Agriculture Director Ali Abu Nukta said Sunday.
Kufur Assad town in Wasatiyeh District received the highest rainfall of 551 millimetres, constituting 122.4 per cent of the annual average, Abu Nukta said.
Central Irbid received the lowest rainfall of 410 millimetres, constituting 97.6 per cent of the annual average, he added.
