AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Thursday dispatched the first Christian law enforcement pilgrimage convoy of retired personnel to Palestine. PSD Assistant Director Brig. Gen. Walid Battah said that dispatching this convoy for Christian retired servicemen and their families reflects the department’s keenness to sustain communication with its retirees, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Director of the Jordanian Interfaith Coexistence Research Centre Father Nabil Haddad, who is accompanying the convoy, commended the PSD’s gesture to provide Christian retirees with the opportunity to visit holy sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Nazareth.
