PSD chief, UK ambassador discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Director of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Tuesday met with UK Ambassador Bridget Brind to discuss cooperation between the PSD and its UK counterpart.

Hawatmeh stressed the need for closer cooperation, especially expertise exchange, boosting capacities and improving the security services, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Brind commended the "high level of professionalism" the PSD has achieved, saying her country is committed to enhancing cooperation in such areas to benefit the two nations.
