Police chief, British ambassador talk security cooperation

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah and British Ambassador Bridget Brind discussed means to enhance cooperation between the PSD and the UK police. 

Maaytah stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the security apparatuses in the two kingdoms and its role in advancing security capacity and exchanging training and technical expertise, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Brind praised the "high-level" of work achieved by PSD as well as its good reputation, expressing her country's keenness to further enhance partnership between the police institutions of both countries.
