PSD arrests ‘wanted’ person, accomplice in Central Badia

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson on Monday announced the arrest of a wanted person in the Central Badia, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. A team of investigators at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) collected information about the individual, who has been involved in seven other cases, with attempted murder, assault and weapons charges. Raiding the location of the wanted person, CID personnel seized two firearms and an unspecified quantity of drugs, and arrested an accomplice, who was also wanted by police. The two were referred to the relevant authorities, the source said.
