Princess Sumaya attends Christmas tree lighting in Dabouq

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya on Thursday attended a ceremony to light the Christmas tree in Dabouq, organised by Halaseh/Al Hadaf Association. Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh and Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji also attended the ceremony, a statement from the association said.
Public Works and Housing Minister Sami Halaseh, who is also the association’s chairman, said having the Christmas season coincide with Prophet Mohammad’s birthday is a symbol of unity among Jordanians.
