Princess Muna attends nursing day celebration

AMMAN () — HRH Princess Muna on Sunday attended a celebration marking Jordanian Nursing Day, organised by the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the event, attended by Royal Medical Services Director General Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh, JNC Secretary General Muntaha Gharaibeh said the celebration included the launch of a set of national documents, including the national strategy for nursing and midwifery in Jordan.
Five documents were launched, including the Princess Muna Award for Excellence at the local and regional levels to honour nurses and health institutions.
Health Minister Ali Hiasat presented certificates to 98 nurses and honoured nursing graduates who were top achievers for the academic year 2014/2015.
