Princess Haya commends achievements of biotechnology centre

AMMAN — HRH Princess Haya, chairperson of the Princess Haya Biotechnology Centre, on Monday praised the centre’s achievements at the local and international levels.

Chairing the first meeting of the centre’s board, the princess highlighted its important role in serving the Jordan University of Science and Technology and the local community, expressing her appreciation for the efforts of its employees in reaching these goals.

Centre Director Amjad Mahasneh presented a briefing on the facility’s activities, such as academic research, diagnosis of genetic and metabolic diseases, and specialised training courses for students and medical personnel.
