Princess Basma attends iftar organised by Goodwill Campaign in Aqaba

AMMAN — HRH Princess Basma on Tuesday attended an iftar banquet and partners meeting organised by the Goodwill Campaign of the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) in Aqaba.
During the event held at the Princess Basma Centre for Development in Aqaba, the princess was briefed on the centre's programmes and initiatives implemented in Aqaba, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Ayah Kalaldeh, the centre's pogrammes coordinator, said that the Princess Basma Centre for Development in Aqaba was established in 1990, and it works along with five sub-centres to implement initiatives and programmes aimed to achieve human development, focusing on women and youth sectors.
The meeting featured discussions with officials from the region to enhance cooperation with JOHUD in various fields. The princess presented gifts and Eid clothes to a number of orphans.
