AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, president of the Arab Thought Forum and chairman of the Board of Trustees at El Hassan Bin Talal Centre for Jerusalem Studies, on Wednesday stressed that "Jerusalem and its people deserve all support, as they do safeguard the holiest sanctities of Muslims and Christians".
Prince Hassan, in a speech delivered on his behalf by Muhammad Hashem Ghosheh, director of Al Hassan Bin Talal Centre for Jerusalem Studies, during the Ramallah-held "Property Documentation and the Historical Status of the Holy Al Aqsa Mosque Conference", said that "the attack on Jerusalem's Islamic and Christian shrines, particularly Al Aqsa Mosque/Al Haram Al Sharif, has never been and will not be tolerated and will be encountered with all available diplomatic and legal means," according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
“The holy city must be constantly present in our minds,” he said, warning that maintaining silence with the continuation of flagrant violations of human rights could bring serious repercussions and threaten peace.
