Prince Hashem attends Hashemite Scientific Councils session

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Hashem on Friday attended the fourth session of this year’s Hashemite Scientific Councils, titled “Citizenship is a Pillar to Build a Country.”

Awqaf Minister Hayel Dawood, former deputy prime minister Mohammad Halaiqa, and a number of officials and officers attended the session.

Halaiqa spoke about citizenship as a modern term translated from the English language as well as its meanings and how it is seen from an Islamic perspective.
