Prayer for rain to be held on Friday

AMMAN — The Awqaf Ministry on Wednesday announced that Istisqaa prayer will be held across the Kingdom on Friday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The special Muslim prayer for rain is a religious ritual practised since the time of Prophet Mohammad and is held due to lack of rain.
