Police officer dies in Maan road accident

AMMAN — A police officer died and four others were injured after their vehicle crashed in Maan on Wednesday, The Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Civil Defence Department (CDD) personnel administered first aid to the injured and transferred them to Maan Hospital, 220km south of Amman. Also on Wednesday, a man died after a car accident in Deir Ala.
CDD personnel transferred the man to Princes Iman Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, a fire erupted in a vehicle in Aqaba, while it was refilling at a petrol station. Firefighters put out the fire, which caused no injuries.
