PM mourns passing of former Awqaf minister Raef Najem

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Wednesday mourned the passing of former Awqaf and Public Works minister Raef Najem.
The premier also extended his condolences to the Najem family, paying tribute to the former minister's great efforts in serving his country and Al Aqsa Mosque, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Najem held the positions of Public Works minister between 1984 and 1985, Awqaf minister in 1991 and chairman of the committee of the Reconstruction of Al Aqsa and the Dome of Rock.
