PM meets with int’l election observers

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday met a delegation of election observers from the National Democratic Institute and the International Republican Institute, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The delegation was invited to observe Tuesday’s vote by the Independent Election Commission (IEC). Mulki expressed his pride in running the elections in the Kingdom despite the situation in the region, and said that the IEC’s openness to invite international monitors demonstrated the commission’s confidence in the integrity of the vote.
