PM attends ceremony to honour civil servants

AMMAN — The government is moving forward in reforming and developing the public sector and improving institutional performance to provide the best service to citizens, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh said on Monday.
Attending a ceremony organised by the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) to honour winners of the 2020 Ideal Employee Award in its 12th edition, Khasawneh congratulated the winners, stressing that they set “an example”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
CSB President Sameh Nasser said that 241 candidates representing 78 ministries and public departments, out of 96 ministries and public departments, have applied for the award making a participation rate of about 81 per cent, which is the highest rate reached during the history of the award.
