Planning minister highlights framework of ‘2025 vision’

AMMAN — Planning Minister Ibrahim Saif on Monday highlighted the integrated economic and social policies’ framework associated with Jordan’s “2025 vision”.
During a meeting held at the Economic and Social Council, Saif noted that the framework aims at enhancing the institutional stability and develop businesses in the long run, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Earlier this year, His Majesty King Abdullah directed the government to draft a 10-year economic blueprint to achieve comprehensive economic development and stability.

The steering committee entrusted with supervising the preparation of a framework for the Kingdom’s economic and social policies, dubbed the “2025 vision”, convened on Saturday to review sectoral committee perspectives on social and economic challenges currently facing the Kingdom.
The “Jordan 2025” vision is scheduled to be launched next Monday under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah, Planning and International Cooperation Minister Imad Fakhoury said Tuesday.
