No rain, chilly temperatures forecast for weekend

AMMAN — The weather on Friday is forecast to be relatively cold in most areas of the Kingdom and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with a slight increase in temperatures forecast for Saturday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The JMD forecast no rainfall on the weekend, and south-easterly moderate to brisk winds, raising dust in Badia areas.
The weather department warned of low visibility during early morning hours due to fog formation, especially in mountainous areas.
On Friday, the JMD forecast an increase in temperatures, bringing stable but cold weather during the day and very cold weather during the night.
The temperatures in Amman on Friday will see a high of 16°C during the day and a low of 8°C at night, while on Saturday temperatures are expected to range between 17°C and 8°C.
In Aqaba, temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 26°C during the day and a low of 13°C during the night, while on Saturday mercury levels are expected to range between 27°C and 13°C, according to the JMD.
