AMMAN — The new Political Parties' Law has been published in Thursday's issue of the Official Gazette. The law, which will take effect after one month of its publication, redefines political parties in a way that allows them to form governments, encouraging political participation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The law grants political parties time to rectify their status and prepare for the next parliamentary elections, where the bill gives political parties a one-year grace period to rectify their status.
