National Charter Party warns of Western involvement in Israeli plot against UNRWA operations in Gaza

AMMAN — Al Mithaq Al Watani (the National Charter) Party on Sunday warned of some Western countries being dragged into Israeli plots to undermine UNRWA. The party highlighted the severity of the situation in Gaza as some countries have already announced the suspension of support and funds to UNRWA, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis faced by Palestinians due to the Israeli aggression, according to a party statement. The party described this decision as "catastrophic", emphasising the urgent need for UNRWA's sustained operations in Gaza in light of the Israeli genocides and massacres and banning entry of aid into Gaza amidst the silence of the international community.  The party reiterated its endorsement of the Kingdom's position that calls for the sustainability of UNRWA operations in Gaza.
