AMMAN — The Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna) on Monday announced a 72-hour suspension of water pumping from the Zai station as of next Sunday morning. The planned suspension will allow personnel to implement planned maintenance and installation of new equipment.
The stoppage, occurring for the third and final time this year, will affect certain regions in Amman and Balqa until Tuesday evening.
A grant provided by the Japanese government (JICA) supports the annual maintenance of Zai stations in order to improve the efficiency of the water supply, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
