Military plane carrying 65 Jordanians from Ukraine lands in Amman

AMMAN — A military plane carrying 65 Jordanians and family members coming from Ukraine through Romania landed at the Marka airport in Amman on Wednesday.
The military plane, coming from Bucharest, was dispatched in implementation of Royal directives to evacuate Jordanians from Ukraine, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Since the beginning of military operations in Ukraine, a total of 90 Jordanians have arrived to the Kingdom.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry announced that more than 537 Jordanian citizens passed from Ukraine to Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary or Moldova.
Representatives of the Foreign Ministry and embassy employees offered immediate aid to Jordanians fleeing Ukraine, meeting their basic needs and easing their return to the Kingdom.
