ZARQA — Zarqa health department cadres on Tuesday closed the meat section at a mall because they found dead insects in the refrigerated meat, according to Turki Kharabsheh, the department director.
The mall’s owner was referred to court and the meat section will remain closed until it rectifies its status, Kharabsheh said. Health cadres also closed a park in Al Zarqa Al Jadida area for not following health standards and containing contaminated water, as well as for not obtaining the necessary licences.
