Man referred to court for plan to illegally sell meat from dead cow

ZARQA — Zarqa Health Department employees, in cooperation with the Rangers, seized a dead cow that a man was carrying in his pickup truck in Duleil area with plans to sell its meat.
The driver, who admitted that he was planning to sell the meat, which was not halal, was referred to court.
Zarqa Health Department Director Turki Kharabsheh warned of the health hazards of consuming the meat of dead livestock.
