Masri says municipalities suffering JD100m deficit

AMMAN — Municipalities still suffer financial and administrative problems that hinder their development, Minister of Municipal Affairs Walid Masri said Tuesday.
At a workshop organised by Al Quds Centre for Political Studies, Masri said the municipalities’ budget deficit has reached JD100 million, and separating municipalities would cost the state budget more than JD500 million.
