Man jailed for 10 years for attempting to join terror groups

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday sentenced a man to a 10-year prison term for attempting to leave Jordan illegally to join terrorist groups and for possession of an automatic weapon.
The SSC said Border Guards ordered the suspect to stop when he was attempting to cross the border but he refused, so he was arrested.
