Man held for planting marijuana inside house

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel have arrested a man with a criminal record after raiding his house in Balqaa, and seized marijuana that he had allegedly cultivated inside his house, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Tuesday.
After raiding the house, AND agents found a large number of marijuana plants in the yard, in addition to some dried saplings, 30 bags of marijuana that were intended for sale, hashish, a firearm and ammunition, the PSD said.
The suspect will be referred to the State Security Court, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
