Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee chief, Italian ambassador discuss efforts to halt war on Gaza

AMMAN — Head of the Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee Khaldoun Hina on Wednesday called for supporting the Kingdom's positions and efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and stop the displacement of the people of Gaza. During a meeting with Italian Ambassador Luciano Pezzotti, Hina reiterated the Kingdom's rejection of any displacement of the people of Gaza to the Kingdom and Egypt, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. He called on Italy and the EU to play greater role in ending the Israeli war on Gaza and supporting Amman's stances to establish an independent Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders.
