Lower House delegation leaves for Cyprus

AMMAN — A parliamentary delegation, headed by Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh, on Wednesday left for Cyprus for a several-day official visit in response to an invitation from Yiannakis Omirou, the speaker of the Cyprus house of representatives.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides.
The deputies are also scheduled to meet with members of the Jordanian- Cypriot Friendship Committee.
