Lawmakers to participate in anti-corruption conference

AMMAN — A Jordanian parliamentary delegation is participating in the sixth Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption, scheduled to be held in Jakarta between Tuesday and Thursday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Saturday.
The conference is a joint initiative by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, the Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC), the South East Asian Parliamentarians Against Corruption and GOPAC Indonesia.
This year’s theme is “Bringing perpetrators of grand corruption to justice for a sustainable world where all citizens can live in prosperity and equity”, according to the GOPAC website.
