AMMAN — With the aim of ensuring public safety amid the coronavirus pandemic and in line with its efforts to provide paperless services, the Ministry of Labour on Wednesday launched an online permit system and e-payment service that facilitate paperwork and work-permit transactions for employers, Ministry Spokesperson Ghaida Awamle said in a statement sent to The Jordan Times. Employers are required to register with the system via the Labour Ministry’s official website: mol.gov.jo, Awamle said.
The ministry has also provided a guide detailing the registration process. The ministry will launch its online permit system in several phases, starting with the launch of services for the renewal of work permits for the agricultural sector on June 3, the statement said.
