AMMAN — The Labour Ministry has issued around 25,000 work permits to guest workers rectifying their status, generating JD6 million in revenues.
The ministry urged guest workers to rectify their status before March 25 to benefit from fee exemptions awarded during the first month of the grace period, which concludes on April 25.
Obtaining work permits will allow guest workers perform their jobs safely, the ministry said, adding that the grace period will not be extended.
