Iraq Al Amir tourism project to cost JD6m

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Sunday said that the Iraq Al Amir tourism project to be implemented from 2017 to 2020 will cost JD6 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The project’s director at GAM, Mohammad Abu Zaytoon, told lawmakers Fadil Nahar and Barakat Nimer it includes the expansion of Iraq Al Amir’s main road, and it will be implemented in partnership with the ministries of public works and tourism.
