Labour minister, Canadian ambassador discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Labour Minister Nayef Steitieh on Thursday met with Canada’s Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie over enhancing cooperation on labour-related issues.
Steitieh expressed the Kingdom's keenness to enhance cooperation between the countries to advance the work of the ministry, notably the Vocational Training Corporation and the Professional and Technical Skills Development Authority, the Jordan news Agency, Petra, reported.
The Canadian envoy commended the advanced level of Jordanian-Canadian relations in various fields, especially in the labour and vocational training related domains. He stressed the need to cement these ties to serve the common interests of the two peoples.
