AMMAN — The Kuwaiti embassy has facilitated the procedures for issuing six-month visas for Jordanian truck owners to enter the Gulf country, and visas will be issued within 10 days as of Thursday, according to Jordan Truck Owners Association President Mohammad Dawood.
The number of trucks expected to enter Kuwait stands at 1,500, with an average of 100 trucks a day, Dawood said, noting that issuing these visas would enhance trade between Jordan and Kuwait, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al Duaij told Petra that the relevant authorities in his country have issued instructions to land border crossings to facilitate the entry of Jordanian trucks into Kuwait.
