KOICA holds workshop on volunteer programme

AMMAN — The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) held a workshop on Sunday to enhance the efficiency of the agency’s volunteer programme in Jordan.
Around 70 officials and volunteers participated in the workshop, including Korean Ambassador Choi Hong-ghi and Social Development Ministry representative Salameh Al Falayleh, according to a KOICA statement.
During the workshop, volunteers and host organisations discussed issues faced within the agency’s volunteer programme, as well as possible solutions.
Han Yong-tae, resident representative of KOICA, emphasised that agency will continue to support Jordan through its various programmes “in the hopes of building a brighter future”, the statement said.
