KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan donates gas heaters to underprivileged families in Amman, Jerash

AMMAN — The KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan (KAAJ), through the support of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA),conducted on October 12 and 22 an activity to donate gas heaters to disadvantaged and vulnerable families in Amman and Jerash governorates.

The activity aimed to provide gas heaters to 60 families, offering them a source of warmth during the harsh winter months.

The activity is part of a series of voluntary activities implemented for this year through KAAJ, with the aim of supporting the Jordanian community andalleviating the difficulties that disadvantaged families faceacross different governorates, according to a statement by KOICA Jordan.

KAAJ was founded in 2008 as a platform for over 1,016 participants of KOICA training programme to sustain and strengthen the close cooperative relation between Jordan and the Republic of Korea.

The Association has organised numerous philanthropic activities with the aim of local development in Jordan in cooperation with KOICA Jordan office.
