JTB wins award for best app in tourism industry

AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) on Wednesday won an award for best government service application in the tourism industry across the Arab world.
JTB Managing Director Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat received the award on the last day of the fourth annual World Government Summit in Dubai, according to a JTB statement.
“This award is a result of our hard and continuous work keeping up with this fast-paced and inventive field,” the statement quoted Arabiyat as saying. The mobile application is currently available in English and French for Android and iOS with new languages to be launched soon.
