‘Kingdom eyeing JD3.5 billion in tourism revenues this year’

DUBAI — Jordan is taking part in the 2015 Arabian Travel Market, which started on Monday and concludes on Thursday, according to Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) Director General Abed Al Razzaq Arabiyat.
Three thousand companies from 85 countries are taking part in the event.
Jordan is targeting tourism revenues estimated at JD3.5 billion for this year, Arabiyat said, noting that JTB is organising a “major” promotional media campaign targeting Gulf Cooperation Council countries to familiarise local and foreign tourists from the Gulf with the Kingdom’s attractions.
