JTB, French travel agency sign charter flight agreement

AMMAN — The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and French travel agency Top of Travel signed a charter flight agreement to increase the number of French tourists to the Kingdom. 

The agreement was signed during the Paris-held IFTM Top Resa tourism and travel exhibition, according to a JTB statement.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Nayef Al Fayez, who is also chairman of the Board of Directors of the JTB, said that charter flights will be operated from more than 20 French provinces to Amman and Aqaba, at an average of 24 flights. 

CEO of Top of Travel Helmut Stuckleschweiger said that the flights will be operated during the March-November period of 2022, at an average of 24 flights, carrying 186 passengers each. 

He also added that a number of French tourists will visit the Kingdom via the Royal Jordanian Airlines.
