AMMAN — The Jordan Press Association (JPA) has terminated the membership of 23 journalists for lacking documents required by the JPA’s terms and conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
The council has now completed its review of membership applications for the last two sessions, according to Petra. In response to demands by the union’s general assembly, an ad hoc committee was formed to examine the soundness of memberships registered between 2011 and 2017.
